Welcome to DOSIST® (the “Platform”), operated by Devonbosch Pharmacy, a registered pharmacy in Stellenbosch, South Africa. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our Platform.

1. Service Description

DOSIST® is an online peptide therapy platform that connects patients with licensed medical practitioners via telehealth consultation. Our services include:

  • Online eligibility screening for peptide therapy programmes.
  • Telehealth consultations with registered medical practitioners who comply with HPCSA telehealth guidelines.
  • Compounding and dispensing of prescription peptide therapy products (including Semaglutide, Tirzepatide, BPC-157, TB-500, GHK-Cu, and NAD+) by Devonbosch Pharmacy, under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
  • Delivery of prescribed products to your address.

All products are compounded medicines prepared by Devonbosch Pharmacy in accordance with the Pharmacy Act, 1974 and Good Pharmacy Practice standards as set by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC). They are dispensed on valid prescription only.

2. Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Be a resident of the Republic of South Africa.
  • Provide accurate, complete, and current personal and medical information during the registration and consultation process.
  • Have a valid prescription issued by a medical practitioner following a telehealth consultation, or provide a valid existing prescription.

3. Medical Disclaimer

DOSIST® is not an emergency medical service. Our Platform does not replace your primary healthcare provider or specialist care. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 10177 (South African Emergency Medical Services) or go to your nearest emergency room immediately.

The information provided on this website is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. All treatment decisions are made by the consulting medical practitioner based on your individual clinical assessment.

Individual results from peptide therapy vary and are not guaranteed. DOSIST® products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

4. Telehealth Consultations

Telehealth consultations are conducted by medical practitioners registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA), in compliance with the HPCSA's General Ethical Rules and telemedicine guidelines. By using our telehealth services, you acknowledge and consent to:

  • A remote consultation in place of an in-person visit, where deemed clinically appropriate by the practitioner.
  • The practitioner's right to decline prescribing if they determine the therapy is not suitable for you.
  • The limitations of telehealth, including the inability to perform a physical examination.

5. Payment Terms

All payments are processed securely through PayFast (Pty) Ltd, a PCI DSS-compliant payment gateway registered in South Africa. Prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable.

Refund Policy

  • If the consulting medical practitioner determines that you are not a suitable candidate for the requested therapy and does not issue a prescription, you will receive a full refund of the product cost. The consultation fee is non-refundable.
  • Once a compounded medicine has been dispensed and dispatched, it cannot be returned or refunded due to the nature of compounded pharmaceutical products, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (Section 20(2)(d)).
  • If you receive a damaged or incorrect product, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery for a replacement or refund.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the DOSIST® website — including text, graphics, logos, brand marks, images, and software — is the property of Devonbosch Pharmacy or its licensors and is protected by South African and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without prior written consent.

DOSIST® is a registered trademark. Unauthorised use of our trademarks is prohibited.

7. User Obligations

You agree to:

  • Provide truthful and accurate information during registration, eligibility screening, and consultations.
  • Not use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
  • Not share your prescribed medication with any other person.
  • Follow the treatment protocol and dosage instructions provided by your medical practitioner and pharmacist.
  • Report any adverse effects to your consulting practitioner and to Devonbosch Pharmacy promptly.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Devonbosch Pharmacy, its directors, employees, and affiliated medical practitioners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

  • Your use of or inability to use the Platform.
  • Any treatment outcomes, side effects, or adverse reactions to prescribed products.
  • Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data or transmissions.
  • Any interruption or cessation of service on the Platform.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under South African law, including liability for fraud or gross negligence.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Devonbosch Pharmacy, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Platform, or your provision of inaccurate information.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately, but provisions regarding intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law shall survive.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Western Cape Division of the High Court of South Africa, or the applicable Magistrate's Court.
